Bangalore traffic and Gulzar's song..

Oh boy, I was stuck in a bad traffic today and the usual thing that came to save me was music.

And it was a song written by the legendary Gulzar Saab!

Gulzar Saab is a Rolls Royce in the era of Ferrari. Old and Classy!

His words are the fragrance of the mud from the first rain. Pure and earthy!

A nicely made cocktail which hits you right with the spirit and the mixer. Melancholy and hopeful!

The song I was listening to was "Tujhse Naraaz nahi zindagi, hairaan hoon main"

And Lata ji's voice is like a warm blanket on a cold day, wrapping me up in all sorts of emotions.

I mean, seriously, have you ever listened to the lyrics? They're like a punch in the gut, but in the best way possible. The song speaks to that part of us that has been hurt, that has felt the sting of disappointment, but they also remind us that life goes on and that we need to keep pushing forward.

And let's not forget the music! It's like a balm for the soul.

But you know what's really ironical about this song? It's that despite all the sadness and heartache, there's this undercurrent of hopefulness. Life can be overwhelming, but with a song like Tujhse Naraaz Nahi Zindagi, it's like having my own personal cheerleader, cheering me on when I need it the most.

Tonight, I'll be over here, listening to it on repeat and feeling all the feels. But for now, a special rendition of this special song.
